1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing or using Scroll ("the Extension"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Extension.

2. Description of Service

Scroll is a browser extension that provides a command palette and navigation tools for AI chat interfaces including ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini. The Extension offers local storage of conversation data, cloud synchronization, and AI-powered search features.

3. Account and Registration

Some features require creating an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Free and Premium Plans

Scroll offers a free tier with limited cloud storage and AI features, and a premium subscription with expanded access. Premium subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period.

5. User Data

The Extension stores conversation metadata locally on your device using IndexedDB. If you create an account, bookmarked conversations and plan usage data are stored on our servers hosted in the EU (via Supabase). We do not sell your data. 6. Age Requirement

Scroll is intended for users aged 16 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. If you believe a child under 16 has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Extension, including but not limited to: attempting to bypass usage limits, reverse engineering the Extension, using the Extension for illegal purposes, or interfering with the service for other users.

8. Intellectual Property

Scroll and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Asker Kurt-Elli trading as Scroll and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Extension is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Extension will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with all websites or browsers.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Extension.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes via email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Extension after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
